Copper and the Home Competition: Winner for 2018 Announced

We are delighted to announce the winners of ‘Copper and the Home 2018’, the international competition dedicated to copper in design. First prize in this design competition has been awarded to Cornelius Comanns with the project ‘Kink’, a set of three water carafes. In second place is Luca Ladiana with ‘Imbuto’, while first prize in the Student Category goes to Claudia Ragnelli and Valeria De Angelis with ‘CU Vietato non toccare’.

First prize in the Professional Category was awarded to designer Cornelius Comanns, with the project ‘Kink’, a set of three water carafes.

The second prize went to designer Luca Ladiana with ‘Funnel’; worthy of a special mention in this category were Paulina Krystyna Sobczyk with ‘Balance’, Carolina Martinelli and Vittorio Venezia with ‘Fili Uncovered’, and Andrea Brugnera with ‘Jijji’.

Claudia Ragnelli and Valeria De Angelis (ISIA, Rome) received first prize in the Student Category, with the project ‘CU Vietato non toccare’.

Special mention goes to Charlotte Martine Stephanie Putois and Ludovic Grégory Lézandron (Lycée Polyvalent Rive Gauche, Toulouse) with ‘Anknaes’, as well as to Magdalena Zawiazalec and Bartosz Brylewski (SWPS Uniwersytet Humanistycznospoleczny, Warsaw) with ‘Copper Knife’.
